Research Integration Tool
This tool provides approaches and methods of integrating literacy research into field practice and evaluating the effectiveness of research on program outcomes. The intent of this material is to provide literacy networks and programs with ways in which to efficiently identify current field research that is relevant and train instructors on how to use research in the classroom. The materials also identify methods in which programs can evaluate what research has produced beneficial results. This material is intended to contribute towards the practice of active reflection by literacy practitioners on current research, theory and the integration of project products in order to benefit the learner.
